Luke Forshaw is proud to lead the Cooperative Educational Services Professional Development team. Prior to this role, Luke has been a classroom teacher and educational leader with experience in both building and district service. He continues to teach graduate course work in curriculum & teaching, leadership and research design. Luke is a firm believer in the power of adult learning and is a champion for continuous improvement on behalf of students and families.

Luke holds a BA in Psychology from Trinity College and an MA and Ed.D. in Curriculum and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Cyndi Adams

Teaching and Learning Specialist

Cyndi is a Teaching and Learning Specialist with almost a decade of classroom experience in a diverse urban setting. She is committed to collaborating with educational professionals in order to implement high-quality, research-based practices and is passionate about equipping educators with the knowledge and tools they need to best support students. Cyndi holds a BA in Mathematics and a BA in Elementary Education from Southern Connecticut State University and a MA in Remedial Reading and Language Arts from Fairfield University. Cyndi also holds a current Wilson Reading Systems Level 1 Certification and is recognized as a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner as well as a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist by the Center for Effective Reading Instruction.

Suzanne Clement

Early Childhood Coordinator

Suzanne Clement is a passionate advocate for high quality early childhood education experiences for children and families. She serves as the Early Childhood Coordinator for Cooperative Educational Services, one of the six Regional Education Service Centers in Connecticut. In this role, she leads early childhood professional development initiatives across Fairfield County and statewide. Her career as an educator of children and adults has included roles as a classroom teacher, program administrator, adjunct professor and family specialist. Suzanne’s practice is informed by her educational background including a B.A. in Child Development, an M.S. in Family Support and Parenting Education, and an M.S. Ed. in Early Childhood Leadership.

Kasey Dunn

Kasey Dunn is a passionate and experienced secondary social studies educator across diverse educational settings. As a Teaching and Learning Specialist, she leads professional development on Understanding by Design (UbD) curriculum development, new teacher support, and Tier 1 instruction. In addition, she serves as a TEAM field staff member, training mentors and providing guidance to new teachers statewide. Kasey also contributed as a consultant for the Connecticut Social Studies Standards Project and as a writer for the state's K-8 Model Curriculum. She holds both a Bachelor’s in Education and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut.

 

Laurie Franzino

Laurie Franzino is an Early Childhood Teaching and Learning Specialist with 16 years of experience in public and private early childhood education settings. She has worked as a preschool teacher’s assistant, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten lead teacher, and mentor teacher. Laurie also teaches as an adjunct instructor in the Early Childhood Education program at Norwalk Community College. Just as Laurie finds joy in promoting and facilitating the development of young learners, she enjoys working alongside early childhood educators on their own developmental journey to implement best practices and professional standards.
Laurie earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Bates College and her Masters of Science in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education.

 

Kerrie Harrigan

Kerrie Harrigan is an Early Childhood Specialist at CES with more than 20 years of experience supporting children, teachers, and families as a classroom teacher, curriculum specialist, coach, and professional development facilitator.  Through these experiences, Kerrie has primarily focused on setting developmentally appropriate expectations and learning experiences, language development, and social-emotional development.  Kerrie values the importance of connection when working with Early Childhood professionals and strives to support them to do the same.  Kerrie received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree from Hunter College in New York City in Literacy Education (Birth-Grade 8).

Christina Lye

Christina Lye is an educator, consultant and coach with more than 20 years of experience. She has held a variety of roles in the field of early childhood education including classroom teacher (in both public schools and community based settings), assistant program director, and teaching and learning specialist. Her areas of expertise include NAEYC Accreditation, early learning standards, social and emotional learning, and high-impact instructional strategies.

Jillian Moccia

Jillian Moccia has a deep commitment to empowering educators, guiding them to recognize the potential in every child. Through professional development, coaching, and consultation, Jillian inspires both novice and seasoned educators to create inclusive, dynamic, and differentiated learning environments. She champions the importance of individualized teaching strategies, social-emotional development, and higher-order thinking, fostering classrooms where all learners can thrive. She equips educators with the tools, insight, and confidence needed to implement innovative, inclusive practices that transform the learning experience. Jillian holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from The College of Saint Rose, a Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Saint Joseph, and a 6th-year Certificate of Advanced Study in Administration & Supervision from the University of Bridgeport.

Nathalie O'Donald

Nathalie O'Donald is the workshop coordinator for the PDS team. She is a primary point of contact for registration questions and technical assistance.
Nathalie is a skilled and passionate graphic design expert who supports the team with all marketing and publication efforts as well.

Liz Parmelee

Work: 203-365-8913Liz is an Early Childhood Teaching and Learning Specialist who brings a wealth of experience to her role, having worked as an assistant teacher, teacher, lead teacher, and childcare director. She values building strong relationships with both teachers and administrators, believing that collaboration and trust are key to fostering meaningful growth and success in early childhood education. Liz’s diverse background gives her a deep understanding of the challenges educators face, and she is deeply committed to adapting to individuals' readiness and needs.  Her competencies include coaching educators in the NAEYC Accreditation process, curriculum development and assesssment and relationship building. Liz  holds a B.A. and M.A. in Early Childhood Education.
